Vaporesso XROS 3 NANO Overview

The Vaporesso XROS 3 NANO is a box shaped pod kit designed for MTL vaping. It is powered by a built in 1000mAh battery which makes it a great all day vape. Plus, the pods have built in coils making the device easy and mess free to set up. There are a variety of bright and colourful options to choose from with a sleek metallic finish.

To fill with e-liquid, simply remove the mouthpiece to reveal the filling port. Then push the nozzle into the small hole and squeeze in the e-liquid until almost full. Do not fill the tank fully as this can cause leakage. The clear pod makes it easy to track the liquid level and avoid burn-outs. There are no buttons to press on the XROS 3 NANO, just inhale into the mouthpiece to vape. When switching between pods the kit will automatically detect the resistance to adjust the power where needed.

The coils use COREX heating technology to improve the performance. It does this by heating more e-liquid at a quicker rate which produces a larger cloud. This improves the efficiency by 50% while also giving a stronger taste. Both pods work best with nic salt e-liquid to provide a smooth MTL vape, even at high strengths. However, the 0.6ohm pod can be used for RDL vaping when the airflow is open.

Who Should Buy This Kit?

The Vaporesso XROS 3 NANO is a great pod kit for new vapers. It is easy to use and requires little maintenance. This also makes it the ideal upgrade for disposable users as it can be used with bar salt e-liquid to provide the same intense flavour. The box shape allows it to be easily stored in a pocket or bag. However, if you like to keep your kit close, it does come with a lanyard to wear around your neck.

Appearance

The XROS 3 NANO is an elegant looking device. It has a square appearance similar to the VOOPOO ARGUS P1.

The front of the kit has a matte finish metal panel that sports the Vaporesso logo. Also, there’s a neon lightbar, similar to the XROS 3. This clearly shows the battery level and looks very flashy. On the reverse of the device is a patterned Vaporesso text design, this matches the same metal as the front panel.

On the sides of the NANO is a textured rubber grip, which makes it very comfortable to hold. The airflow control is on the side that is closest to the pod and is very intuitive. There’s a single dot that will provide a tight draw when the slider is closed. When it’s open, you get a much larger airflow. The USB-C charge port can be found at the bottom of the kit.

The pods stick out of the top making it easy to see your liquid levels. Also, it allows for easy filling on the go, thanks to the snap off top. It’s always nice to see a disposable pod that doesn’t rely on rubber plugs.

Performance

The NANO vapes wonderfully. It’s incredibly smooth, thanks to the highly adjustable airflow. We tried it with both the 0.6ohm and 0.8ohm pods and there’s a noticeable difference between the two. The 0.6ohm is perfect for RDL users and gives a large amount of vapour. The 0.8ohm pod is more restrictive and gives a tight or loose MTL experience, depending on the airflow settings.

This kit is a perfect choice for 50/50 liquids and this includes bar and nic salts. You might get away with using slightly thicker liquids when using the 0.6ohm pod, but we didn’t test it.

With its 1000mAh battery, the NANO will easily last most vapers all day. The charge level is clearly displayed using the neon lightbar on the face of the kit.

Ease Of Use

The XROS 3 NANO is very simple to use. It has a snap-off top fill for easy access on the go. It’s also auto-draw activated meaning that there’s no buttons to mess with. Since the pods are disposable, there’s no coil changes either. The only thing you need to be mindful of is giving them 5-10 minutes to soak on the first fill.
